Job summary

Hawaii-Western Management Group Inc. seeks a Marketing and Communications Lead to guide marketing, communications, and branding efforts from our Downtown Honolulu office. You will coordinate campaigns across digital, social, print, TV, and events while partnering with departments and vendors to ensure brand consistency.

The role requires strong branding knowledge, a creative mindset, and leadership skills. In-office position with occasional travel and possible days remote after onboarding.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Creative mindset, detail-oriented, and adaptable to developing marketing content
• Strong understanding of branding and marketing channels/tools
• Strong organizational, analytical, time management, leadership, and strategic planning skills
• Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, public-speaking and presentation skills
• Manage and oversee operational functions in a highly collaborative environment
• Quick learner, flexible at work, and work independently and on a team
• Results-oriented, with the ability to balance other business considerations while meeting timelines
• Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Valid driver’s license, reliable means of transportation and no-fault auto insurance are required, if applicable.

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field such as communications and three years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related area within the insurance sector; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Intermediate proficiency in publishing/design software (e.g., Canva, WordPress, Photoshop)
• Basic-level proficiency in digital marketing and social media strategy
• Basic-level proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Publisher

Starting Salary Range:

$50,000 - $65,000 annually. Full salary range is broader and depends on experience.

Work Location

• In-office position in Downtown Honolulu, Hawaii. May later be eligible to work from home one (1) day per week subject to management approval
• Outdoor and other non-air-conditioned environments may be encountered during external events or meetings
• Able to travel by plane to neighbor islands
