Job summary

Garmin is seeking a full-time Project Manager 1 - Marketing at its U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area to lead packaging development for multiple products and manage new product launch activities.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Engineering, Sales and regional teams worldwide, coordinate website setup, imagery, Oracle pricing, and create marketing announcements using Adobe software, while ensuring timely delivery of packaging deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years relevant experience or equivalent.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
• Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Proven customer service track record.
• Ability to deal with confidential company matters.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Plan, oversee and lead packaging development for multiple products.
• Coordinate new product launches including website setup and imagery.
• Create marketing product announcements using Adobe software and lead Launch Reviews.
• Maintain ecommerce product and accessory data in the database.
• Develop packaging schedules and manage priorities with Marketing Communications.
• Collaborate across Marketing, Engineering, Sales and regional teams.
• Analyze packaging status and readiness for pilot runs and mass production.
• Prepare engineering change orders and bill of materials for packaging.
• Ensure compliance with Garmin procedures for packaging development.
• Support cross-functional reviews with business segment leaders and IT.
