Job summary

Garmin Ltd. is seeking a full-time Product Manager at our U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area.

You will help define new products through market research, profitability analysis, voice of customer data, and competitive insights, in a collaborative, cross-functional setting. You will work with Engineering to understand scope and tradeoffs, assist with product documents and roadmaps, and support product marketing plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, or related field; 5+ years in product development, engineering, marketing or analytical role
• Experience with software applications and consumer electronics is preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present data and recommendations

Responsibilities

• Support the definition of new products with market research and profitability analysis
• Provide voice-of-customer information and competitive analysis in a team environment
• Collaborate with Engineering to understand scope and tradeoffs
• Assist in creating product line roadmaps, concepts, and requirements
• Coordinate market research to track end-user feedback
• Evangelize the product vision with Sales, Marketing, and Marketing Communications
• Support training of Product Support and Field Service Engineers
• Monitor product gross margins and participate in managing lifecycle stages
