Job summary

Garmin seeks a Project Manager Intern for Summer 2027 in the Greater Kansas City area. You will support project management and coordination between teams from concept to mass production for Garmin products.

The role emphasizes learning to define objectives, build schedules, manage meetings, and track progress across multiple functions while gaining exposure to BOMs and product release processes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in a technical discipline with strong academic performance (GPA 3.0+).
• Proven or demonstrated knowledge of project management concepts and processes.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Positive, detail-oriented, organized, and a self-starter who can multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with defining objectives, requirements, timelines, and milestones for projects.
• Learn to create and adjust schedules with milestones and dependencies.
• Support weekly project status meetings with documentation and follow-up items.
• Help manage market commitments and ensure schedules meet commitments.
• Collaborate with program managers across functions on complex projects.
