Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing Product and Operations, the Marketing Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in improving processes and execution across the marketing team by ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with business goals. This role will be responsible for leading the coordination of marketing communication plans across functions, aligning resources to priorities, tracking and measuring marketing outputs, and identifying and executing on improvement opportunities. Additionally, this role will lead planning and execution for marketing meetings like town halls and creative reviews, and improve key tools that make onboarding and collaboration more effective. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership, influencing, and communication skills, a deep understanding of marketing principles and best practices, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. They should be able to simplify complex ideas, craft compelling stories, and manage through ambiguity.

Key Performance Indicators
  1. Marketing ROI: Support marketing to meet annual revenue and margin goals by maximizing revenue by customer segment/business, and improving marketing output per employee.
  2. Project delivery deadlines are met.
  3. People: Retention, engagement, and enablement.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Budget Management: Oversee the marketing budget for North America, ensuring effective allocation and optimization of resources. Develop detailed budget plans, track expenditures, deliver synergy, and provide regular updates to the CMO. Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend adjustments to maximize ROI.
  • Monthly Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports on marketing budgets and performance for North America. Analyze key metrics, track progress, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Campaign/Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate across marketing functions to ensure alignment and drive synergy. Foster strong relationships and coordinate projects to maximize results.
  • Support Efficiencies: Improve marketing processes to address gaps and enhance output quality. Partner with Marketing Technology to support systems that improve efficiency and tracking.
  • Leadership: Provide effective leadership within a matrix organization, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Address skill gaps through training and development.
Required Experience
  • Ability to foster excellent relationships internally and externally.
  • Experience with business integration, transformation, process development, and securing C-suite buy-in.
  • Minimum of 5 years in marketing, focusing on planning, strategy, and budget management.
  • Proven success in developing and implementing marketing strategies in complex, multi-channel environments.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making ability.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership in motivating cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and technologies.

Formal Education, Qualifications or Training
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in business administration, marketing, or related field preferred.
Base Pay Range

$84,300 - $109,600 USD annually. Starting pay may vary based on location, skills, education, and experience. Total earnings can also be affected by incentives, overtime, and performance.
