We are seeking a Marketing Operations Manager to join our innovative Marketing & Communication Team! In this critical role, you'll optimize systems and processes that power our marketing programs, campaigns, and lead generation efforts across our growing portfolio. From reporting and CRM automation to tech stack optimization and internal resource management, you'll help us scale with excellence.

You'll be the operational heart of a high-performing team, working cross-functionally to support our digital marketing strategy, team efficiency, and platform accuracy. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact in a collaborative, fast-paced environment at the intersection of hospitality, real estate, and tech.

The Marketing Operations Manager will report directly to the VP, Marketing Analytics.

This role will have a hybrid schedule, which will be a mix of reporting to your local home base community in either Pennsylvania or New Jersey and from home, with up to 25% travel required as needed throughout all AVE markets nationwide.

Responsibilities

Marketing Systems/Automation

  • Serve as the team lead of the marketing tech stack, including Yardi RentCafe CRM, Engrain, Microsoft SharePoint, CallRail, and various leasing and marketing platforms
  • Test and implement new tools, features, and AI to enhance team efficiency - including Microsoft Office and CoPilot, project management system
  • Identify and execute process improvements within marketing systems and workflows to optimize for scalability, efficiency, and automation
  • Manage project and request tracking through our ticketing/project management system (FreshService), ensuring prioritization and accountability

Reporting & Performance Management

  • Own the creation and distribution of key marketing reports - including advertising performance, lead source attribution, marketing team production, etc.
  • Conduct ongoing audits of CRM data, call tracking systems, email databases, and other platforms to maintain marketing integrity
  • Monitor campaign sources and ensure marketing attribution is accurate across the board
  • Track and analyze marketing spend across channels to ensure optimal ROI and make data-driven recommendations for ad source allocation at both a Brand and Community level
  • Manage the call tracking platform, including new number setups, source configuration, and ongoing performance analysis to optimize lead attribution and campaign effectiveness

Marketing Operations & Internal Enablement

  • Develop and maintain Marketing SOPs, internal resource guides, and training documentation for both Marketing & Communication Team Members and onsite community teams
  • Own and manage our internal SharePoint marketing site to streamline access to documentation, creative assets, and resources
  • Coordinate marketing materials for events, ensuring timely delivery and brand alignment

Collaboration & Process Orientation

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, IT, and Operations teams to ensure smooth data flow, CRM follow-up logic, and campaign execution
  • Support email database integrations and help drive automation strategy across campaigns and customer journeys
  • Serve as a backup for email marketing execution, supporting campaign setup, testing, and scheduling in collaboration with the internal Copywriter
  • Serve as an account manager for marketing-related platforms and tools, ensuring renewals, updates, and platform performance
  • Oversee marketing system integrations, working cross-functionally to implement and maintain connections between key platforms to support automation, tracking, and reporting

Budgeting & Administrative

  • Track and manage the marketing budget, including invoice processing, vendor contract management, expense reporting, and budget forecasting to ensure alignment with company goals

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a marketing operations, digital marketing, or support role, ideally in real estate, multifamily housing, or hospitality
  • Technically savvy with a passion for leveraging tools and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and experience using reporting tools and platforms to track performance and optimize spend
  • Process-oriented with proven experience building, documenting, and optimizing workflows and SOPs
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, and other collaboration tools
  • Experience with marketing platforms such as Yardi/RentCafe CRM, Engrain, and project management tools
  • Familiarity with CRM logic, campaign attribution, and marketing automation
  • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A natural problem solver and self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment

Compensation

  • $80,000-$85,000/year

Individual compensation decisions will vary as the annual base compensation range provided is approximate and determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, qualifications, education, and geographic location. AVE also offers additional bonus potential paid out on a monthly and/or quarterly basis (dependent upon the position), which is not included in the base compensation range listed above.
