SUMMARY: Heritage Auctions is looking for a Marketing Operations Associate to serve as a critical right-hand partner to the Director of Marketing—someone who can turn strategic vision into coordinated action. This is a high-impact role designed for a marketing-savvy professional who thrives on bringing order to complexity, managing cross-functional workflows, and building repeatable systems that make great marketing happen efficiently. You’ll work closely with leaders across departments and categories to bring clarity, alignment, and structure to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

COMPENSATION: Commensurate based on experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Project & Campaign Coordination: Drive the successful execution of marketing initiatives by organizing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder input across multiple teams and channels (print, digital, social, video, and more)
- Interdepartmental Liaison: Serve as a bridge between auction category leaders and the marketing team to ensure category-specific marketing needs are captured, understood, and met through clear communication and follow-through.
- Marketing Planning Support: Help develop and maintain streamlined marketing plan templates tailored to various business categories. Adapt and update them as needed for seasonal campaigns, major events, and evolving priorities.
- Content Workflow Management: Assist in prioritizing and tracking incoming marketing requests, helping manage the content production pipeline across various teams.
- Stakeholder Support & Expectation Management: Represent the Director of Marketing in high-touch interactions with key business stakeholders. Set clear expectations, ensure alignment, and help maintain productive and professional relationships.
- Process Development: Contribute to building internal marketing processes that enhance clarity, consistency, and accountability across campaigns and teams.
- Execution with Autonomy: Respond quickly and capably to new directives, taking initiative to move projects forward with minimal supervision.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, operations, project coordination, or similar roles.
- Demonstrated ability to organize complex projects and juggle competing priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with evolving goals and multiple stakeholders.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with marketing campaign planning and execution across digital and traditional channels.
- Exposure to multi-brand, multi-stakeholder environments or industries with many internal clients.
- Basic understanding of KPIs and performance measurement.
