The role connects strategy with execution by establishing clear processes, governance, systems, budget controls, and performance reporting across Global Marketing, Regional Marketing, Product Marketing, Brand, PR, Social, Digital, Creative, and Events.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in Marketing Operations, Marketing Strategy, Business Operations, PMO, or related roles.
  • Experience working within a global or regional marketing organization.
  • Strong understanding of marketing planning, budgeting, reporting, and campaign operations.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects involving Marketing, Product, Sales, Finance, and Creative teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in dashboards, reporting, spreadsheets, and project management systems.
  • Experience with marketing technology and automation platforms is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively across multiple regions, cultures, and time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Own the global marketing planning process, including annual, quarterly, and campaign planning cycles.
  • Establish standardized planning templates, timelines, milestones, and approval processes.
  • Create governance between Global Marketing, Regional Marketing, Business Units, Product Teams, and Sales.
  • Ensure marketing activities align with company priorities and business objectives.
  • Establish ownership, accountability, and decision-making frameworks across marketing programs.
  • Design and continuously improve end-to-end marketing workflows.
  • Standardize processes for campaigns, product launches, creative requests, PR, events, digital marketing, and regional activation.
  • Define roles, responsibilities, approval gates, and escalation paths.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve speed and execution quality.
  • Build scalable processes that support both Consumer and B2B marketing organizations.
  • Own marketing budget tracking and governance across global and regional teams.
  • Establish budget planning, allocation, approval, and reporting processes.
  • Track budget vs. actual spending and identify variances.
  • Improve visibility into marketing investment by region, business unit, campaign, and function.
  • Partner with Finance and marketing leadership on forecasting and budget optimization.
  • Ensure marketing investments are properly documented and accountable.
  • Build standardized marketing dashboards and reporting frameworks.
  • Establish consistent KPI definitions across teams and regions.
  • Consolidate performance across Brand, PR, Social, Digital, Product Marketing, Channel Marketing, Events, and Regional Marketing.
  • Develop weekly, monthly, quarterly, and executive-level reporting.
  • Translate marketing data into actionable insights for leadership.
  • Own and optimize the marketing technology ecosystem.
  • Evaluate and implement tools for project management, campaign management, analytics, CRM integration, digital asset management, and reporting.
  • Ensure marketing teams use systems consistently and effectively.
  • Reduce unnecessary tools, duplicate workflows, and fragmented data.
  • Partner with IT, Sales Operations, and other functions on system integration and data governance.
  • Establish operating rhythms between Global Marketing and regional marketing teams.
  • Coordinate global marketing calendars, major campaigns, product launches, events, and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure regional teams receive the assets, information, timelines, and guidance required for execution.
  • Improve visibility of regional marketing plans and activities for global leadership.
  • Facilitate cross-regional sharing of best practices and learnings.
  • Partner with Product Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Creative, PR, Digital, and Regional Marketing to operationalize product launches.
  • Establish launch timelines, milestones, deliverables, owners, and readiness criteria.
  • Maintain visibility into launch status and identify risks before they impact execution.
  • Ensure marketing deliverables are completed according to agreed launch milestones.
  • Conduct post-launch reviews and capture learnings for future launches.
  • Lead project management for major global marketing initiatives, campaigns, launches, events, and strategic programs.
  • Establish project scope, owners, milestones, dependencies, timelines, and critical paths.
  • Run cross-functional project meetings and maintain action trackers.
  • Identify execution risks, bottlenecks, and resource conflicts and elevate them early.
  • Maintain executive-level visibility into project status.
  • Establish standardized project management methodologies and tools across Global Marketing.
  • Conduct post-project reviews and ensure key learnings are incorporated into future programs.
  • Support agency and vendor management processes.
  • Establish consistent scopes of work, briefing processes, timelines, and performance expectations.

Job description

The Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for building the operational foundation that enables Cooler Master’s global marketing organization to plan, execute, measure, and scale effectively.

This role connects strategy with execution by establishing clear processes, planning frameworks, governance, systems, budget controls, and performance reporting across Global Marketing, Regional Marketing, Product Marketing, Brand, PR, Social, Digital, Creative, and Events.

The ideal candidate is highly structured, analytical, and process-driven, with the ability to bring clarity and accountability to a complex global marketing organization.

Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Planning & Governance
  • Own the global marketing planning process, including annual, quarterly, and campaign planning cycles.
  • Establish standardized planning templates, timelines, milestones, and approval processes.
  • Create clear governance between Global Marketing, Regional Marketing, Business Units, Product Teams, and Sales.
  • Ensure marketing activities align with company priorities and business objectives.
