Job description

The Marketing Operations Program Manager is responsible for running the operating system of the Marketing Business Partner team. This role ensures the team functions as a single, integrated unit aligned to shared business missions.

There are four new marketing organizations within the client. This person will help keep this team in sync with overall goals and how those connect. This person will look across the other teams in marketing to support digital marketing, event marketing, and content marketing teams and work to keep collaboration high and bring more structure and communication with this team. (US Industrial Automation business marketing)

You will orchestrate how work flows across strategy, program management, and functional teams. This includes driving intake, prioritization, resource alignment, execution tracking, and performance visibility team wide. This role sits at the center of a cross-functional marketing team and ensures the group operates as one aligned unit, focused on delivering measurable business outcomes with speed and at scale.

Key Responsibilities
1. Team Operating Rhythm & Governance
  • Establish and run the team-level operating cadence (weekly / monthly, QBRs, and mission reviews)
  • Design and manage meeting structures, agendas, and decision frameworks
  • Lead planning for team events, offsites, and F2F sessions
  • Ensure clear governance across all initiatives, including roles, decision rights, and escalation paths
  • Outcome: A consistent, predictable, and high-functioning team rhythm
2. Mission Intake, Prioritization, and Planning
  • Oversee the central intake process for marketing requests and initiatives within the Marketing Business Partner team
  • Facilitate prioritization in partnership with Marketing Business Partner Leader and Strategic Marketers
  • Ensure all work aligns to defined missions and business priorities
  • Identify gaps, overlaps, and constraints across missions
  • Partner with functional teams to optimize resource deployment
  • Maintain a single, integrated view of all team commitments
  • Outcome: Work is focused on the highest-value priorities, with clear trade-offs and alignment
3. Execution Tracking & Delivery Management
  • Track progress across all active missions and initiatives
  • Ensure milestones, dependencies, and risks are identified and managed
  • Drive accountability across cross-functional teams
  • Outcome: Work moves forward on time, with clear ownership and transparency
4. Performance Tracking & Reporting
  • Consolidate input from Program Managers and functional teams into cohesive, team-level reporting
  • Provide leadership visibility into progress, performance, and impact
  • Support QBRs and executive updates with clear insights
  • Outcome: Leadership has a clear, real-time view of team performance
5. Cross-Team Integration
  • Ensure alignment across strategy, program management, and functional execution teams
  • Connect work across missions to avoid duplication and fragmentation
  • Drive a \"one team\" mindset, removing silos and handoffs
  • Reinforce standard ways of working across Marketing Business Partner teams
  • Outcome: The team operates as a unified system, not a collection of functions
Qualifications

Must Have Skills
  • 4-7 Years of experience (can be a mix of experience between sales and marketing) do not submit someone super senior-this is junior/mid-level
  • Bachelors Degree (Marketing)
  • strong mathematical skills for pricing/revenue analysis.
  • Experience with time management (managing projects where people and timelines required a lot of oversight)
  • Personable, good communication, detail oriented
  • Strong written, verbal skills, and organization skills
