The societal impact is real: when an event happens, the speed and quality of service can protect families’ health, prevent long‑term mold exposure, and reduce financial hardship for property owners—especially during times of widespread need.

The Role

This internship is built for someone who wants real decision‑making, modern tools, and hands‑on experience running marketing operations end‑to‑end. You’ll work directly with an experienced Director of Marketing who will provide ongoing guidance, fast feedback, and weekly KPI + strategy sessions.

If you’re the type of person who loves execution and wants to understand how performance marketing and pipelines actually work, you’ll fit right in.

  • Support and coordinate podcast interview scheduling (guests, confirmations, calendar holds, reminders)
Email Marketing
  • Build, schedule, and optimize email campaigns (newsletters, nurture sequences, follow‑ups)
  • Track deliverability, opens, clicks, replies, and conversions and report insights
Paid Ads & Performance
  • Help manage paid ad campaigns (testing, monitoring, optimization, budget pacing)
  • Work from KPIs to improve performance (CTR, CPC, CPL, conversion rate, CAC/CPA)
Metrics, Strategy, and Effectiveness
  • Monitor content and campaign metrics weekly
  • Identify what’s working, what’s not, and propose improvements
  • Participate in weekly KPI reviews and strategy sessions
Lead Pipeline & CRM
  • Manage inbound lead flow and pipeline movement
  • Qualify leads using simple criteria (fit, urgency, role, next step)
  • Use market data and “triggers” (signals and events) to identify prospects and add them into the CRM
What Success Looks Like (First 30–60 Days)
  • Consistent, on‑brand social + email publishing cadence
  • Clear weekly reporting on what content/campaigns are producing leads
  • Faster response time and cleaner organization in the lead pipeline
  • Stronger qualification and smoother handoff of qualified leads
Who This Is For
  • Wants startup‑level impact (your work directly influences growth)
  • Likes ownership and accountability
  • Is curious, coachable, and comfortable learning tools quickly
  • Enjoys both creative work (content) and analytical work (metrics + optimization)
Requirements
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Organized, dependable, and able to self‑manage a small weekly workload
  • Comfortable working with marketing tools (or eager to learn quickly)
  • Ability to attend the weekly strategy/KPI session in downtown Westerville
Nice to Have (Not Required)
  • Experience with email tools, social schedulers, or CRMs (HubSpot)
  • Basic understanding of paid ads (Meta/Google/LinkedIn)
  • Familiarity with KPI tracking and simple reporting
What You’ll Get
  • Real‑world experience across content, email, ads, and CRM pipeline—not busywork
  • Direct mentorship from an experienced Director of Marketing
  • Weekly KPI and strategy coaching
  • Access to a professional podcast studio during weekly meetups
  • A pathway to potential full‑time employment after the program
