Municipal Credit Union (MCU) seeks a Marketing Manager, Deposits, to lead the development and execution of integrated product marketing strategies for the deposits portfolio, including checking/debit, high-yield savings, certificates, and youth accounts.

You will own growth initiatives, define audiences, and collaborate with Marketing, Product, Retail and external vendors to optimize campaigns and profitability across MCU’s member base in New York.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in deposit product marketing in the financial services industry.
• Proficiency in project management and product profitability.
• Demonstrated success in planning, organizing and producing high impact member and product marketing campaigns.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal and brand standards.

Overview

The Marketing Manager, Deposits, owns the development and execution of integrated product marketing strategies that drive awareness, acquisition, adoption and retention across MCU’s deposit portfolio. This role is responsible for leading growth initiatives for members, checking/debit, high-yield savings, certificate accounts, and youth accounts.

Responsibilities

• Member Growth & Profitability: Identify, build, execute and measure campaigns to increase member acquisition, engagement, retention and profitability.
• Product Growth & Profitability: Identify, build, execute, and measure campaigns to increase acquisition, utilization, retention and profitability of MCU’s deposit products and services. Ensure all assigned products are effectively positioned and optimized.
• Performance Management: Establish KPI and ROI goals and create reporting and dashboards for key initiatives. Leverage data to support marketing strategy and articulate compelling business cases and campaign briefs.
• Marketing Plans: Develop annual, quarterly, and campaign level marketing plans aligned with MCU’s core business objectives. Create forward-thinking strategies and ideas to reach and grow new members using all owned Marketing channels.
• Retail Marketing: Lead campaign-to-retail channel marketing and toolkits to support MCU retail network and the Contact Center in addition to market entry promotions for new/relocated/acquired branches.
• Audience Segmentation: Define target audiences and create specific messaging to highlight MCU’s value propositions, key benefits and competitive differentiation.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Product, Retail and other business leaders and vendors to understand product goals, growth opportunities and member needs.
• Strategy & Roadmap Input: Participate in Marketing strategy and planning discussions, contributing strategic input and hands on product marketing knowledge to help inform priorities.
• Product Expertise. Serve as a subject-matter expert for assigned products.
• Brand Management: Ensure all members and assigned product marketing strategies are aligned with MCU’s brand, mission and vision.
• Budget & Reports: Manage day-to-day business as usual including budgeting, forecasting and monthly results reports
• Additional Responsibilities: Perform other related duties as requested and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in deposit product marketing in the financial services industry.
• Proficiency in project management and product profitability.
• Demonstrated success in planning, organizing and producing high impact member and product marketing campaigns.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal and brand standards.
• Familiarity with project management software, preferably Asana, a plus.
• Excellent communications and writing skills.
• Support an execution culture centered around accountability, urgency and collaboration.
• Ability to work independently on multiple concurrent projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail, meet deadlines and qualify standards.
• Experience in managing outside vendors and agency service providers.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

The pay range for this position is between $106,300-150,000 annually. Actual base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Employees in this position may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus, 401(k) with an 6% employer match per pay period. Benefits for this position include Medical, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance, flexible paid time off and 11 paid holidays annually.
