Employee benefits represent the second-largest expense for most businesses, yet the landscape is fragmented, complex, and difficult to navigate. Avante unifies fragmented benefits data and provides AI-driven insights that help employers control costs while delivering an exceptional employee experience.

Role Overview:

We're seeking a results-driven Marketing Manager to own our demand generation efforts targeting self-funded employers and benefits decision-makers. In this critical role, you'll develop and execute programs that build pipeline, generate qualified leads, and support our revenue goals. This position offers significant growth opportunity and hands-on experience across multiple marketing channels in a fast-paced startup environment where you'll help communicate the value of AI-driven benefits intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute multi-channel demand generation campaigns that drive qualified leads from self-funded employers and HR/benefits decision-makers
  • Build and optimize digital marketing programs across paid search, social, email, and content syndication with messaging that simplifies complex benefits concepts
  • Develop and manage account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives targeting enterprise prospects in our key industry segments
  • Create and implement lead nurturing workflows that educate prospects on AI-powered benefits optimization
  • Develop compelling assets that showcase our platform's ability to transform reactive benefits management into strategic planning
  • Manage marketing automation platform and CRM integration to ensure proper lead tracking and attribution across complex B2B sales cycles
  • Analyze campaign performance metrics and continuously optimize programs to improve ROI
  • Support event marketing strategy, including webinars, virtual events, and HR/benefits industry conferences
  • Monitor marketing KPIs and prepare reports on campaign effectiveness with actionable insights
  • Stay current on B2B SaaS and HR-tech demand generation best practices, always questioning conventional approaches
  • Collaborate closely with sales to understand pipeline needs and align marketing activities to support complex enterprise deals

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of B2B marketing experience with focus on demand generation or pipeline marketing
  • Experience executing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, preferably in HR-tech, benefits, or enterprise SaaS
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, etc.) and CRM systems
  • Understanding of lead generation, qualification, and nurturing processes for complex B2B sales cycles
  • Data-driven approach with ability to measure and report on marketing campaign performance
  • Basic knowledge of SEO/SEM, email marketing, and content marketing principles
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to navigate ambiguity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with talent for making complex topics accessible
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-moving startup environment
  • Experience marketing to HR/benefits decision-makers or C-suite executives preferred
  • Understanding of employee benefits landscape or willingness to quickly learn is a plus
  • B2B SaaS experience strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or equivalent experience
