Derflan is seeking a Marketing Manager to join our consulting team, supporting seasonal campaign operations for a global technology leader. This hybrid consulting role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys driving execution across marketing, merchandising, product, and technical teams. You’ll play a central role in delivering one of the largest retail events of the year—helping scale content, optimize campaign performance, and support automation using cutting-edge tools and data insights.

Job Title: Marketing Manager II (Consultant Role)
Contract Duration: 8 months with potential for extension or conversion
This role requires hybrid on-site presence. Candidates must already reside in the greater Los Angeles area to be considered.
Required: You have worked at Amazon, Microsoft, Google, or Meta in the past.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the development and execution of the company’s Winter Holiday campaign strategy (including Christmas, Hanukkah, Diwali, Thanksgiving, and New Year’s)
• Drive mid- and lower-funnel traffic planning in coordination with Channel Marketing teams
• Act as the single-threaded leader (STL) with product and tech teams to scale merchandising efforts using automation and generative AI
• Program manage biweekly leadership syncs, including agenda creation, stakeholder input collection, and performance reporting
• Partner with the Automated Collections team to ensure Holiday product collections meet strategic goals
• Monitor consumer trends and behaviors across retail, social, and ecommerce channels
• Conduct campaign QA across site experiences (“walk the store” reviews) to ensure accuracy and timing of launches
• Track and resolve live event issues by coordinating with cross-functional teams across merchandising, creative, and engineering
Required Qualifications
• 6+ years of experience in cross-functional project or program management
• Strong background in customer insights, campaign analytics, and market research
• Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale initiatives with multiple stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• You have worked at Amazon, Microsoft, Google, or Meta in the past.
Preferred Qualifications
• Amazon boomerang experience preferred
• Experience with seasonal or large-scale campaign coordination
• Familiarity with merchandising systems, site operations, or automated content delivery
