Job summary

Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field with 3 years of progressive casino marketing or 5 years total experience.
  • Requires 3 years in a supervisory role; casino gaming, hospitality, promotions, Players Club, event coordination, or retail ops preferred.
  • Must be 21+ years old; pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background check, and obtain gaming license.

Job description

The Marketing Manager provides leadership and operational oversight for Advertising Coordinators,Event Coordinators, Players Club operations, and, at New Mexico properties, PBX operations and Gift Shop operations. This position partners closely with operational leadership, property departments, and marketing staff to ensure promotional activities, events, guest communications, and customer service operations are executed efficiently and professionally in accordance with Enterprise standards and property objectives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Oversees day-to-day marketing operations, promotional activities, event coordination, guest engagement initiatives, Players Club operations, and assigned operational areas while ensuring operational efficiency, service consistency, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provides leadership, guidance, coaching, scheduling oversight, workforce development, accountability, and performance management for Advertising Coordinators, Event Coordinators, Players Club staff, PBX operations and Gift Shop staff (New Mexico properties), and other assigned team members as applicable.
  • Assists with implementing marketing plans, promotional campaigns, special events, player development initiatives, guest loyalty programs, advertising activities, and customer service strategies aligned with property and Enterprise objectives.
  • Coordinates operational activities with casino operations, Food & Beverage, hotel operations, finance, security, entertainment, and other departments to support promotions, special events, VIP activities, guest communications, and property-wide initiatives as applicable.
  • Assists with monitoring promotional performance, guest participation levels, event effectiveness, customer feedback, operational readiness, and departmental productivity to support operational and financial goals.
  • Supports advertising, promotional, and event-related activities including vendor coordination, operational logistics, scheduling, guest communications, promotional materials, and event preparation.
  • Oversees Players Club operations to ensure guest enrollment activities, player service standards, promotional support, and customer engagement efforts are conducted professionally and efficiently.
  • Oversees PBX and Gift Shop operations at New Mexico properties including staffing support, customer service standards, operational coordination, inventory accountability, and day-to-day operational effectiveness.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field plus three (3) years of progressive experience in casino marketing, promotions, guest services, or related hospitality operations experience or the equivalent of five (5) years of progressive casino marketing, casino marketing and promotions. Requires three (3) years in a supervisory role. Casino gaming, hospitality, promotions, Players Club, event coordination, and retail operations experience preferred. Must be twenty-one (21) years of age. No felony, theft or stealing convictions. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
  • Knowledge of casino marketing operations, promotional activities, event coordination practices, Players Club operations, customer service standards, and hospitality operations.
  • Knowledge of advertising support activities, guest loyalty programs, operational coordination practices, scheduling procedures, inventory accountability, PBX operations, and retail operations.
  • Knowledge of applicable federal, tribal, state, county, and local laws, gaming regulations, company policies, operational procedures, and guest service standards.
  • Advanced skill in supervising, coaching, mentoring, scheduling, motivating, and evaluating assigned staff while promoting accountability, teamwork, operational effectiveness, workforce development, and continuous improvement.
  • Skill in coordinating promotions, special events, guest engagement activities, operational logistics, customer service initiatives, and departmental activities in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • Skill in preparing, reviewing, maintaining, and analyzing operational reports, scheduling documentation, promotional records, inventory records, event documentation, and departmental communications.
  • Skill in operating various word-processing, spreadsheet, database, scheduling, reporting, promotional, and presentation software programs in a Windows environment including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to provide exceptional guest service and internal customer service while maintaining professionalism, responsiveness, operational leadership, and positive working relationships with individuals of varying social and cultural backgrounds.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with guests, vendors, team members, departments, operational leadership, and executive management while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Ability to analyze operational situations, exercise sound judgment, prioritize multiple assignments, meet strict deadlines, and implement effective operational and guest service solutions while supporting operational excellence and property objectives.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative, accountability, professionalism, adaptability, operational awareness, and a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence while maintaining strict confidentiality of all privileged information.
Physical Demands
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to sit, stand, or walk for prolonged periods; use hands for dexterity of motion; stoop, bend, kneel or crouch, and have normal auditory, visual acuity, and verbal communications skills. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
Work Environment
  • Working in a casino setting, employees are exposed to moderate/high noise levels and frequent contact with internal and external customers. Extended hours, including evenings, weekends, irregular shifts, and holidays may be required. Tight time constraints and multiple demands are common. Work is performed in a fast-paced, result-oriented, and ever-changing environment. The team attitude is positive and upbeat. Exceptional customer service is at the forefront of all that we do.
