The ideal candidate is creative, highly organized, and professional, with strong writing, editing, and design capabilities across Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, or public relations preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing, communications, or PR.
• Financial Industry experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead brand strategy and ensure consistency across all marketing communications and materials.
• Develop and execute PR and communications strategies to raise brand awareness.
• Manage the firm’s LinkedIn and social media with engaging content.
• Execute email marketing campaigns for client engagement, prospect nurturing, events, and business development.
• Maintain marketing collateral aligned with brand standards and priorities.
• Evaluate vendor performance and ensure quality and adherence to scopes of work.
• Ensure all materials are reviewed and approved through the firm’s compliance review process prior to publication.
• Own and manage the marketing budget across initiatives, vendors, campaigns, and tools.

Position Summary: The Marketing Manager at HORAN Wealth is responsible for the strategic planning, coordination, execution, and evaluation of all firm-sponsored events and marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is creative, personable, highly organized, and professional, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. This position works cross-functionally with firm leadership, public relations, sales, and service teams to ensure all events and marketing programs align with HORAN Wealth’s strategic goals and brand standards.

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead brand strategy and ensure consistency across all internal and external marketing communications and materials.
• Develop and execute public relations and communications strategies that enhance brand awareness and strengthen the firm’s market presence.
• Manage the firm’s social media presence with a primary focus on LinkedIn, ensuring consistent brand messaging and audience engagement.
• Execute email marketing campaigns that support client engagement, prospect nurturing, event promotion, and business development initiatives.
• Maintain and regularly update marketing collateral to ensure all materials are accurate, current, and aligned with brand standards and business priorities.
• Evaluate vendor performance and maintain accountability for quality, responsiveness, and adherence to agreed upon scopes of work.
• Ensure all marketing and communications materials are reviewed and approved through the firm’s formal compliance review process prior to publication or distribution, with no exceptions.
• Own and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across initiatives, vendors, campaigns, and tools.

• Demonstrates skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications and public relations activities.

• Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams.
• Competent in utilizing Adobe Creative Suite—Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Canva, Visme, with additional design training and experience.
• Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications Required:

• 4-year degree from an accredited University focusing on journalism, marketing, or public relations, with demonstrated success, preferably in B2B, in the for-profit or professional sector
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience (preferably more) in marketing, communications, or public relations
• Financial Industry experience a must.
