Bluebird Fiber is seeking a Marketing Lead to drive our SEO and AI-powered content strategy from the ground up. You will create accessible content, manage WordPress updates, and work with Marketing, Sales and Training to improve how customers and AI bots find us.

This full-time role offers hands-on ownership, exposure to new marketing tools, and a chance to shape a growing Midwest telecom brand.

Qualifications

• Strong writing ability to translate technical ideas clearly.
• Experience with digital marketing, WordPress management and SEO.
• Curiosity about AI and AEO; willingness to learn.
• Collaborative across Marketing, Sales and Training teams.
• Detail-oriented with deadline discipline.
• Comfort using data to measure progress and guide next steps.
• Positive, team-first communicator with cross- functional skills.
• Experience with WordPress, Act-On and Gong is a bonus, not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and quick learning of new platforms.

Responsibilities

• Implement our AEO strategy and use platform insights to fill content gaps.
• Create ongoing content to improve AI-powered discovery and lead nurture.
• Co-plan lead-nurturing flows with Sales and Training, including emails.
• Manage day-to-day WordPress updates and build landing pages with minimal code.
• Oversee SEO efforts, identify opportunities and track progress.
• Provide reporting and practical recommendations against goals.
• Maintain Brand Store inventory and vendor relationships.
• Create internal marketing communications highlighting wins and updates.
• Handle marketing requests and priorities; communicate status with stakeholders.
• Coordinate agency resources for larger website updates.
