Job description

Big ambitions. Fresh thinking. A chance to make your mark.

Join Scoot Education as we reshape our marketing function and put great marketing at the heart of business growth. We're moving beyond simply delivering marketing activity to creating smarter, more focused campaigns that genuinely influence business performance. We're looking for a hands-on, commercially minded Marketing Lead to help bring this next chapter to life across our US and UK businesses.

Someone who loves the creative side of marketing just as much as the strategy, data and technology behind it. Who can take a great idea, turn it into a brilliant campaign and demonstrate the difference it made.

You'll join a business with a bit of a start-up spirit, big ambitions and a team that knows how to have fun along the way.

About the opportunity

This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of marketing projects and campaigns, working closely with our marketing leadership, commercial teams and wider stakeholders.

Our marketing function is evolving. We're sharpening our priorities, raising expectations and building a more strategically focused, commercially impactful function.

You'll be right in the middle of that change.

From launching new services and developing B2B campaigns to building audience engagement and finding smarter ways to connect our technology, content and customer data.

Our focus is predominantly B2B, helping schools and education organisations understand the value we bring, with opportunities to support educator attraction and retention too.

You'll have the freedom to think creatively, challenge existing approaches and own projects from concept to delivery, all within a broader global marketing strategy.

What you'll be doing
  • Bringing campaigns to life: Own marketing projects end-to-end, from creative thinking and planning through to execution and results.
  • Driving B2B growth: Build targeted campaigns that generate leads, engage audiences and support commercial growth.
  • Creating content that connects: Develop compelling content, thought leadership, case studies and digital campaigns.
  • Making technology work harder: Use CRM, email marketing, automation and analytics to create smarter, more effective campaigns.
  • Exploring AI: Find practical ways to use tools like Claude to improve workflows, accelerate content creation and unlock new possibilities.
  • Connecting the dots: Partner with sales, recruitment and senior stakeholders to turn business priorities into meaningful marketing activity.
  • Measuring what matters: Use data and commercial insights to understand what's working and continually improve results.
What you'll bring

We're looking for someone who's ready to take ownership, bring fresh ideas and get things done.

You'll likely have 4+ years' marketing experience, a strong B2B background and the confidence to independently lead projects.

Here's what we're looking for:
  • Experience delivering successful B2B campaigns, ideally in education, EdTech, software or a service-led business.
  • Strong project management skills, turning broad briefs into clear plans and great execution.
  • A solid understanding of digital marketing, content strategy and lead generation.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Google Analytics, Mailchimp and WordPress.
  • Curiosity and confidence with AI, already exploring how it can improve the way you work.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • A commercial mindset, understanding that great marketing isn't just about what looks good, but what works.

Most importantly, you'll be proactive, adaptable and comfortable working in a business that’s evolving. You enjoy finding solutions, take pride in the quality of your work and know when to roll up your sleeves to get something over the line.

You don't need to know everything about education staffing. What matters more is your curiosity, judgement and willingness to learn.

Why Scoot Education?

Scoot Education is part of ANZUK Group, an international education staffing business connecting great educators with schools and communities.

We combine the energy, personality and agility of a growing business with the opportunities and support of a wider international group.

We're ambitious about where we're going, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. You'll find approachable people, plenty of personality and a collaborative team that genuinely enjoys working together.

And with our marketing function evolving, this is a great time to join, contribute your ideas and help shape what comes next.
Here's what you can expect:
  • Salary: $90,000-$100,000, depending on experience.
  • Hybrid working: Three office days (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday), with flexibility on the other two.
  • Flexible hours: Opportunity to start earlier when collaborating with UK colleagues, without routinely extending your working day.
  • Health and wellbeing: Comprehensive medical, dental and vision benefits, including partner coverage options.
  • Retirement: 401(k) with up to 5% employer match.
  • Time away: Flexible time off, with 15 days available, plus flexible sick leave.
  • Additional flexibility: Up to two weeks of remote working.
Ready to make your mark?

If you're a marketer who enjoys taking ideas from concept to impact, loves finding smarter ways to work and wants to be part of a business with genuine ambition, we'd love to hear from you.
