The Opportunity
What if your next marketing role gave you the freedom to build something entirely your own? We're partnering with an ambitious, venture-backed technology business operating at the intersection of AI and insurance, looking to appoint a Founding Marketing Lead at a pivotal stage of its growth. The business is gaining significant commercial traction, backed by established investors and bringing modern technology to an industry with enormous potential for innovation. Now, they're looking for someone to take ownership of marketing and help shape the next chapter.
This isn't an opportunity to step into an established marketing department. It's a chance to create one. You'll work directly with the CEO, have genuine influence over commercial strategy and take responsibility for how the business positions itself, builds relationships and generates demand. As the company scales, so will your remit, with the opportunity to build and lead your own marketing team.
Why This Opportunity?
- Build something from scratch: Take full ownership of marketing strategy, execution and the foundations of a growing function.
- Direct exposure to leadership: Work closely with the CEO and influence key commercial decisions.
- Strong growth potential: Join a well-backed business with proven commercial momentum and significant ambitions.
- A genuine leadership opportunity: Start hands-on, with the potential to hire, develop and lead a marketing team.
- Equity participation: Have a direct stake in the company's future success.
- Freedom to innovate: Bring your own ideas, experiment with new technologies and shape how marketing is done.
- Meaningful market impact: Help position an innovative AI business within an established industry undergoing technological change.
About the Role

Responsibilities

- Establish strategic partnerships and identify relevant events and networking opportunities.
- Create compelling sales enablement materials that support high-value commercial conversations.
- Track marketing performance, optimise campaigns and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Explore emerging AI tools and modern marketing techniques to improve efficiency and results.
About You
We're looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with a genuine willingness to roll up their sleeves. You'll be comfortable operating independently, making decisions and building processes without relying on an established playbook.
Ideally, you'll bring:
- 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, ideally within SaaS, technology or another enterprise-focused environment.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of account-based marketing, demand generation and sales-led growth.

- A commercially focused mindset, with the ability to measure marketing impact.
- Confidence collaborating with senior leadership and sales teams.
- An interest in AI and the evolving technology landscape.
Above all, we're looking for someone who wants ownership, enjoys building and is excited by the opportunity to shape a company's marketing direction.
Preferred Skills
- Experience within InsurTech, FinTech or vertical SaaS would be advantageous, but isn't essential.
