Responsibilities

• Social Media Management: Highlight new listings and industry insights; create, schedule, and monitor content on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
• Content Creation: Draft blog posts and property spotlights reflecting local East Tennessee expertise.
• Email Marketing: Create monthly newsletters and market updates; design and execute email blasts for listings, closings, and awards.
• Graphic Design: Use Canva or Adobe Creative Suite to produce flyers, social graphics, and digital brochures for commercial properties.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure all materials align with SVN | Wood Properties’ core values and brand guidelines.

Marketing Intern - SVN | Wood Properties

The Marketing Intern supports the growth and brand visibility of SVN | Wood Properties by executing digital marketing strategies, creating engaging content, and maintaining our online presence. As we do not have a dedicated marketing department, this role offers a unique opportunity for a creative individual to take ownership of our voice across social media, email, and the web. This role works closely with leadership to ensure our listings and services are showcased with the high standards our clients expect.

Key Responsibilities:

• Social Media Management
  • Highlight new listings, company news, and industry insights.
  • Create, schedule, and monitor content across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram
• Content Creation
  • Draft blog posts and property spotlights for the company website that reflect our local expertise in East Tennessee.
• Email Marketing
  • Create monthly newsletters and market updates using our email platforms
  • Design and execute email blasts for listed properties, closings, and awards
• Graphic Design
  • Utilize Canva or Adobe Creative Suite to produce professional flyers, social graphics, and digital brochures for commercial properties.

Qualifications:

• Self-Management: As a "department of one," the ability to stay organized, meet deadlines, and take initiative without constant supervision is vital.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Workspace and familiarity with social media management tools. Experience with WordPress or email marketing software is a plus.
• Education & Experience: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or Business.
