Job summary

BBI Logistics in Columbus, OH is seeking a Marketing Intern to support daily tasks, social media projects, and gain real-world marketing experience in a fast-paced freight brokerage environment.

You'll rotate through marketing areas, collaborate with the team, and create graphics in Adobe, assist with monthly newsletters, and contribute to brand awareness efforts while learning from mentors in a paid 11-week summer program at our Arena District HQ.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate students (junior or senior) pursuing a bachelor's degree.
• Must be able to complete an 11-week program in Columbus office.
• In-office internship; remote work not offered.
• Strong work ethic and energetic attitude.
• Ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily marketing tasks supporting campaigns and assignments.
• Rotate through marketing areas to gain hands-on experience.
• Participate in weekly brainstorming sessions with the marketing team.
• Design graphics using Adobe platforms.
• Assist with creation of the company-wide monthly newsletter.
• Contribute to projects to develop marketing skills throughout the year.
• Monitor trends with social listening and industry updates.
• Edit videos and create office culture reels and social media posts.
• Showcase growth and announcements through social media.
• Brainstorm ways to increase brand awareness and implement ideas.
• Collaborate with fellow interns on volunteer activities and outings.

Description BBI is looking for hard working, creative, and passionate student looking to gain marketing experience in a Columbus based freight brokerage. As a Marketing Intern at BBI, you will work alongside our marketing team to support daily tasks, social media projects, and gain more responsibility as the internship goes on. The summer internship program is crafted to elevate your marketing skill set while also adding immense value to our marketing efforts. What You'll Be Doing.

• Assist with daily marketing tasks by supporting the marketing team on projects, campaigns, and assignments
• Rotate through various areas of marketing to gain hands on experiences across the department
• Participate in weekly brainstorming and creative sessions with the marketing team
• Work in Adobe platforms to design and create graphics, flyers, and other marketing materials
• Assist with the creation of our company wide monthly newsletter
• Contribute to assigned marketing projects throughout the year that focus on enhancing your overall marketing skill set
• Utilize social listening and trend monitoring to remain updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and brand related discussions by using social media platforms
• Take on video editing and creation of office culture reels and social media posts
• Showcase company growth and recent announcements through social media posts
• Brainstorm ways to increase brand awareness and put those thoughts into action
• Collaborate with your fellow interns by participating in volunteer activities and company outings

What You Bring To The Table.

• Junior and Senior undergraduates pursuing a bachelor's degree preferred
• Capable of completing the 11-week program at our Columbus office
• Able to work in office as this internship does not offer remote opportunities
• Hard working and energetic spirit
• Ability to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
