Job summary

The Mint Gaming Hall Kentucky Downs in Kentucky is seeking a Marketing Specialist to execute marketing tasks and provide administrative support to the Marketing team. Duties include data entry, email campaigns, entertainment booking, promotions planning, signage coordination, and vendor communications.

You will maintain calendars, process invoices and purchase orders, manage promotional inventory, and assist with direct marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing/communications preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year progressive experience in Marketing, Communications or Customer Service.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and modern office equipment.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must pass pre-screening and background checks.
• Ability to work varied shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to obtain Kentucky gaming/racing license.

Responsibilities

• Execute marketing tasks and provide administrative support to the Marketing team.
• Answer calls and emails promptly and professionally; forward messages as needed.
• Coordinate promotions, events, signage, and vendor communications.
• Manage invoices, purchase orders, and promotional inventory.
• Book live entertainment and maintain entertainment schedules.
• Provide BIG Service to internal guests and maintain positive relationships.

Education

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent

High school diploma or GED

1-year progressive experience in Marketing, Communications, Customer Service

Must be 21 years or older

Basic Microsoft Office skills

Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills

Must pass all required pre-screening and background checks

Ability to work a variety of shifts

Must be able to obtain Kentucky gaming/racing license
