The Tennessee Education Lottery Corporation seeks a motivated individual to promote the lottery through events and promotions. This role involves planning and executing events, managing logistics, and providing excellent customer service to enhance public engagement. The primary purpose for this position is to promote the Tennessee Lottery to retailers, players and the general public at large. Duties include, but are not limited to: planning and coordinating special events, in-store promotions, player rewards program elements and performing additional tasks as assigned by Director of Marketing &Special Events.
High School Diploma (or GED) is required. Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Advertising, Journalism, Marketing, or Business preferred
One to three years or more of special events planning or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience, which provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for this job. At least two years of experience working with sponsorships, special events or promotions is preferred. A valid Tennessee driver’s license with a satisfactory motor vehicle record is required. Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
The following duties are normal for this job and should not be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
Must be able to travel intra-state for consecutive days using company vehicle. Must maintain a valid Tennessee Driver’s License at all times.
