Job summary

Aeon seeks a Senior Director of Marketing to build and scale the marketing function for a defense technology leader. You will shape brand strategy, messaging, and public relations, while driving digital presence, campaigns, and conferences to accelerate growth.

The role requires a strategic, hands-on leader who can establish processes and teams from the ground up. You will guide website development, content creation, and executive communications, with responsibility for annual marketing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing, communications, PR, or branding.
• 5+ years leading marketing teams in aerospace, defense, gov tech, or high-growth tech.
• Proven success in brand, communications, and demand-gen strategies.
• Experience planning large events, trade shows, and industry engagements.
• Experience leading website development, digital marketing, and content strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Aeon's corporate marketing and brand strategy.
• Lead PR activities: press releases, media outreach, executive communications.
• Position Aeon via industry publications, speaking engagements, and content.
• Own and improve Aeon's website, digital presence, and social media.
• Oversee website development, SEO, and UX improvements.
• Manage campaigns for brand awareness, engagement, and recruiting.
• Monitor marketing analytics and campaign performance.
• Plan participation in defense, aerospace, tech, and gov conferences globally.
