Job description

Are you a hands-on Marketing Director ready to drive brand and commercial growth for an education leader in technological access?

OETC is a non-profit consortium of schools, universities, and libraries united under the common belief that everyone should have access to the tools needed for a great education. As a leading technology value-added reseller specializing in K-12 and higher education, OETC empowers educational institutions to create safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environments.

OETC is seeking an experienced remote Marketing Director to lead their marketing efforts and drive brand awareness, demand generation, and sales enablement. The Marketing Director will develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives to position OETC as a trusted advisor to education CIOs and CTOs. The ideal candidate will have managed the entire marketing mix to engage and convert customers in the SLED marketplace.

Major Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine OETC’s brand messaging and establish OETC as an industry thought leader through content marketing, speaking engagements, and strategic partnerships
  • Design and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to generate qualified leads and implement Account-Based Marketing strategies to target high-value education clients
  • Provide insight-led sales enablement through sales collateral, pitch decks, case studies, competitive analysis, and training
  • Execute an event and conference strategy including sponsorships, speaking opportunities, and booth activations supported by post-event lead-nurturing strategies
  • Drive OETC’s digital presence and community engagement through effective strategies in website, SEO, social media, email, and customer advocacy programs
  • Refine market positioning and persona-driven tactics through customer research, analytics tracking, and trend tracking in K-12 and higher education
  • Define KPIs for marketing efforts, leverage analytics tools, and conduct A/B testing to monitor performance and improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Optimize the CRM and marketing automation workflows to nurture leads and drive conversions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record leading entire marketing mix and growing sales
  • Experience marketing solutions and products to the SLED marketplace – State, Local and Education
  • Demonstrated ability in B2B demand generation including account based marketing, sales enablement, events, content, and partnerships
  • Analytical mindset with experience using marketing automation, data tools, CRM, SEO and PPC
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales and executive leadership
  • Work remotely and live in Washington State or Oregon
  • Compensation range $110,000 to $140,000 depending on experience and qualifications
