Job Summary

The Director of Marketing will play a pivotal strategic role in leading ISC’s B2B and DTC marketing efforts. This individual will not only manage a marketing team and key vendor relationships but will also ensure that marketing strategies are aligned with the company’s ambitious growth goals. The Director will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns, performance measurement, and the continuous optimization of our marketing technology stack to ensure insight-driven decision-making.

Position Responsibilities

  • Strategic Campaign Leadership – Develop and execute B2B and DTC marketing strategies that align with ISC’s business goals. Lead marketing campaigns, ensuring seamless coordination across teams and business units, from planning to execution and performance tracking.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making & Performance Measurement – Leverage data analytics to monitor and evaluate campaign effectiveness. Use insights to optimize marketing strategies, improve performance, and report key metrics to senior management.
  • Salesforce & Marketing Automation Optimization – Lead efforts to optimize Salesforce and other marketing technologies, ensuring robust segmentation, tracking, and reporting capabilities to maximize ROI from marketing efforts.
  • Brand Positioning & Messaging – Guide brand strategy and ensure consistent, compelling messaging across all marketing channels. Oversee the development of promotional materials and digital content that strengthens ISC’s market position.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration – Partner with internal teams, including Sales, Technology, and Product, to ensure cohesive marketing strategies that support company objectives.
  • Market Research & Competitive Analysis – Conduct in-depth market research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitive landscape shifts, and evolving customer needs. Apply insights to refine strategies and uncover new growth opportunities.
  • Vendor & Agency Management – Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors, ensuring alignment with ISC’s marketing goals. Oversee advertising, public relations, and digital marketing efforts to drive high-impact results.
  • Team Leadership & Development – Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing communications team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and results-driven performance. Set clear objectives, establish key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure team alignment with business goals.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of marketing experience, with a proven track record of successful campaign management and leadership.
  • 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, with preferred experience in insurance financial services, commercial insurance or Insurtech preferred.
  • Proven strategic thinking and ability to develop and execute complex marketing strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to inform decisions, optimize campaigns, and measure success.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Proficiency with marketing technologies, including Salesforce, Google Analytics, and digital advertising platforms.

Role Progression

The next role is Senior Director.

The starting annual pay scale for this position is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on factors such as skills, qualifications, training, and experience. In addition, the company offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) plan with match, paid time off, and other benefits.

National Pay Range

$120,000 - $150,000 USD
