Sistar Mortgage is seeking a Director of Marketing in Sterling Heights, MI, to lead market and brand strategy, generate leads for loan officers, and drive multi-channel campaigns. The role oversees digital content, market research, and regulatory compliance to grow lending operations.

Qualifications

Position Summary

The Director of Marketing for Sistar Mortgage will lead company's market and brand strategy, lead generation, and multi-channel advertising campaigns to attract homebuyers and support loan officers. The individual will develop and execute innovative marketing initiatives that position Sistar Mortgage as a trusted leader in the mortgage and home financing industry They will oversee digital content, market research, and regulatory compliance to grow the lending business.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with Sistar Mortgage's business objectives and growth goals.
• Build and strengthen the Sistar Mortgage brand across all markets and customer segments.
• Identify emerging market opportunities, industry trends, and competitive positioning strategies.
• Serve as a member of the executive leadership team, contributing to company-wide strategic planning.

Brand Development & Recognition

• Establish and maintain a consistent brand identity across all marketing channels.
• Increase brand awareness through innovative campaigns, public relations, community involvement, and industry events.
• Develop thought leadership initiatives that position Sistar Mortgage as a trusted mortgage expert.
• Manage brand reputation and customer perception.

Lead Generation & Business Growth

• Design and implement marketing programs that generate qualified leads for loan officers and branch teams.
• Develop customer acquisition and retention strategies to maximize growth.
• Optimize marketing funnels to improve conversion rates and customer experience.
• Support market expansion initiatives through targeted campaigns and strategic partnerships.

Digital Marketing & Customer Engagement

• Lead all digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, content marketing, and paid advertising.
• Improve website performance, lead conversion, and online customer engagement.
• Leverage marketing automation and CRM systems to nurture prospects and increase loan volume.
• Monitor key performance metrics and optimize marketing performance based on data insights.

Public Relations & Partnerships

• Build relationships with media outlets, real estate professionals, builders, financial advisors, and community organizations.
• Represent Sistar Mortgage at industry conferences, networking events, and community initiatives.
• Develop strategic partnerships that support business development and brand visibility.

Team Leadership

• Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing marketing team.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
• Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI.

Qualifications

Required

• 10 years of progressive marketing leadership experience.

Preferred

• Mortgage, banking, financial services, or real estate industry experience.
