• Create and oversee educational content including blog posts, newsletters, videos and social media.
• Coordinate digital advertising campaigns including Google, Meta, and other paid channels.
• Analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies based on results.
• Support One on One’s “Give Back” initiative by promoting and coordinating community events.
• Develop a recruiting strategy for finding fitness professionals and registered dietitians.
• Maintain current job listings on all platforms.
• Promote and advertise mentorship program.
• Track key marketing metrics including lead generation, cost per lead, conversion rates, client acquisition, website traffic, social media performance, and email engagement.
• Present monthly marketing reports and recommendations to leadership.

Position Summary

The Marketing Director is responsible for developing and executing the overall marketing strategy for One on One Fitness Consultants Inc. located in State College, Pennsylvania. This individual leads all marketing initiatives that generate awareness, attract qualified leads, strengthen the One on One brand, and lead recruiting efforts. The Marketing Director works closely with leadership and team members to ensure marketing efforts align with the company's mission of helping people live healthier, happier lives.

Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing

Develop and execute the marketing strategy aligned with company growth goals.

Establish marketing campaigns to promote services and engage with the local community.

Digital Marketing

Manage website content and optimize for AEO and SEO.

Develop and execute email marketing campaigns

Create and oversee educational content including blog posts, newsletters, videos and social media

Coordinate digital advertising campaigns including Google, Meta, and other paid channels.

Analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies based on results.

Community Outreach

Support One on One’s “Give Back” initiative by promoting and coordinating One on One’s community events.

Recruiting

Develop a recruiting strategy for finding the best fitness professionals and registered dietitians in the industry

Maintain current job listings on all platforms

Promote and advertise One on One’s mentorship program

Analytics & Reporting

Track key marketing metrics including:

Lead generation

Cost per lead

Conversion rates

Client acquisition

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience managing digital advertising campaigns.

Strong understanding of AEO/SEO, social media, email marketing, and content strategy.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong project management and organizational skills.

Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of marketing experience, preferably in health, fitness, wellness, or service industries.

Experience in the fitness, wellness, or healthcare industry.

Graphic design or video editing experience.

Experience with HubSpot, Constant Contact, Canva, Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, or similar marketing platforms.

Photography and content creation experience.

Compensation

Compensation is grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that rewards exceptional performance. Starting salary range is $70,000-80,000 per year depending on experience, capabilities, and demonstrated track record. The position is also eligible for an annual performance-based bonus tied to individual and company results.

One on One has a strong philosophy of rewarding sustained high performance and long-term contribution. Successful team members have the opportunity for meaningful compensation growth over time. Team members with 4+ years of service can expect to make no less than $110,000 per year in base pay.
