Shift: Day

Responsibilities

As a Marketing Director, you will perform the following duties:

• Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
• Plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures to provide quality care and maintain a sound operation.
• Work harmoniously with other personnel and maintain good personnel relations and employee morale.
• Seek new methods and principles and incorporate them into existing practices.
• Maintain knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing the release of information as well as nursing and medical practices and procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines for nursing facility administration.
• Ensure you do not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent (five (5) years experience in marketing/public relations in a health care setting may be recognized in lieu of a bachelor's degree).

Experience:

• Thorough knowledge of principles of effective communication, mass media, advertising, policies, education, community relations, demonstration, organizational structure, social and activity services, government relations related to nursing facility operations.
• Ability to plan, organize, and effectively present ideals and concepts to community groups/agencies.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to assimilate information, analyze information, and make recommendations to the Administrator.
• Ability to establish, implement, and maintain an effective marketing and public relations program.
