PeoplesBank is seeking a highly creative Marketing Design Manager to serve as the organization’s primary creative resource and brand steward. This role oversees the development, execution, and oversight of visual collateral across print, digital, social media, presentations, advertising, website content, email marketing, and sales collateral.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, Fine Arts, or related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in graphic design, creative services, or marketing communications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute high-quality visual designs across print and digital channels.
  • Create marketing collateral including brochures, flyers, advertisements, direct mail, signage, event materials, infographics, and promotional materials.
  • Design digital assets for websites, email campaigns, social media platforms, online advertising, and customer communications.
  • Maintain and evolve PeoplesBank's visual identity standards for a consistent brand experience.
  • Serve as brand steward, ensuring materials adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Establish design best practices, templates, and standards for use across the organization.
  • Build and maintain digital pattern library to support visual identity across surfaces.
  • Review, evaluate, and approve creative materials from agencies and internal teams.
  • Provide creative direction to ensure quality and alignment with objectives.
  • Monitor brand consistency across communications and customer touchpoints.
  • Design and enhance executive presentations, sales materials, and board materials.
  • Develop presentation templates and visual storytelling frameworks.
  • Design and update website content, landing pages, and digital experiences.
  • Support email marketing campaigns and digital assets for acquisition and retention.
  • Coordinate photography and multimedia content; manage multiple projects.

Summary:

PeoplesBank is seeking a highly creative, versatile, and detail-oriented Marketing Design Manager to serve as the organization's primary creative resource and brand steward. This role is responsible for the development, execution, and oversight of visual collateral across all marketing channels, including print, digital, social media, presentations, advertising, website content, email marketing, and sales collateral.

The Marketing Design Manager will establish and maintain design standards that strengthen the PeoplesBank brand while ensuring all marketing materials meet the highest standards of quality, consistency, and effectiveness. Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, executive leadership, business development teams, and external agencies, this individual will transform complex ideas into compelling visual collateral that support business growth, customer engagement, and brand awareness.

This role requires strong graphic design capabilities, digital marketing skills, and comfort working in a hands-on environment where responsibilities may include developing creative campaigns, executive presentations, photography, website updates and maintenance, SEO, and marketing program support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Creative Development & Brand Management

  • Develop and execute high-quality visual designs across print and digital channels.
  • Create marketing collateral including brochures, flyers, advertisements, direct mail, signage, event materials, infographics, and promotional materials.
  • Design digital assets for websites, email campaigns, social media platforms, online advertising, and customer communications.
  • Maintain and evolve People's Bank's visual identity standards to ensure a consistent and compelling brand experience.
  • Serve as the organization's brand steward, ensuring all customer-facing materials adhere to established brand guidelines.
  • Establish design best practices, templates, and creative standards for use across the organization.
  • Build and maintain digital pattern library to support consistent application of our visual identity system across all surfaces.

Creative Review & Quality Assurance

  • Review, evaluate, and approve creative materials developed by external agencies, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide creative direction and constructive feedback to ensure all work meets quality, brand, and strategic objectives.
  • Monitor brand consistency across all communications and customer touchpoints.
  • Ensure accuracy, visual excellence, and compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.

Presentation & Executive Communications Support

  • Design and enhance executive-level presentations, sales presentations, board materials, and strategic business communications.
  • Partner with business development and leadership teams to create compelling, visually engaging content for high-stakes presentations, proposals, and RFP responses.
  • Develop presentation templates and visual storytelling frameworks that improve organizational communication effectiveness.

Digital Marketing & Website Support

  • Design and update website content, landing pages, and other digital experiences.
  • Support the development and execution of email marketing campaigns.
  • Create and maintain digital marketing assets that support customer acquisition, retention, and engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with marketing and technology partners to ensure optimal user experience and brand consistency across digital properties.

Photography & Multimedia Content

  • Coordinate and execute employee headshots and other basic visual content needs.
  • Edit and prepare photography assets for marketing and communications use.
  • Support basic video, multimedia, and visual content development as needed.
  • Partner with marketing, sales, business line leaders, and executive stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into effective creative solutions.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high quality standards.
  • Coordinate with external agencies, freelancers, printers, photographers, and production vendors.
  • Stay current on emerging design trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance the organization's creative capabilities.

Marketing Team Support

  • Support broader marketing initiatives beyond design responsibilities as business needs require.
  • Contribute to campaign execution, content development, event marketing, and other departmental activities.
  • Operate as a collaborative member of the marketing team with a willingness to contribute wherever needed to support organizational goals.
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, Fine Arts, or a related field preferred.

Experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience in graphic design, creative services, marketing communications, or a related field.
  • Advanced experience designing for both print and digital marketing channels, including brochures, direct mail, advertisements, signage, event materials, websites, email campaigns, social media, online advertising, and customer communications.
  • Experience working with brand standards and managing creative consistency across multiple channels.
  • Experience supporting executive presentations, sales materials, proposals, or client-facing communications preferred.
  • Financial services, banking, or regulated industry experience preferred.
  • Experience with marketing automation, CRM, and digital analytics platforms.
  • Experience managing external creative agencies, print vendors, photographers, and production partners.
Preferred Technical Skills
  • Expert proficiency with Figma or other collaborative design platforms for design system management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro, and related design applications.
  • Design proficiency in Microsoft Office 360 suite including PowerPoint, Word, Windows Outlook and SharePoint.
  • Working knowledge of WordPress, with the ability to design and update web pages, landing pages, and online content.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS sufficient to collaborate effectively with web development and technology partners.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:

This role combines strategic event planning with hands-on event execution. Frequent travel is required for venue evaluations, partner meetings, and onsite event support. Responsibilities include coordinating event setup and breakdown, transporting and organizing event materials, and ensuring successful event execution. The role requires standing, walking, lifting and carrying materials up to 40 pounds, and occasionally bending, kneeling, reaching, or working in confined spaces. Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
