Job summary

Asana’s Marketing Data Science team is looking for a senior data science leader to architect and drive scalable, production-grade marketing models. You will mentor a team of data scientists, design robust data pipelines, and push innovative approaches like MMM, LTV, and MTA to improve marketing effectiveness.

Based in San Francisco with a hybrid office schedule, you’ll partner with Marketing leadership and the broader data community to raise technical standards and influence business strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a quantitative field (Math/Stats/CS or equivalent).
• 6+ years in data science, with 2+ years in technical leadership mentoring other data scientists.
• 4+ years collaborating with Marketing on technical projects and deploying marketing models (MMM, LTV, MTA, Uplift).
• Expert knowledge in advanced statistical modeling, causal inference, experimental design, and ML techniques for marketing.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead the Marketing Data Science roadmap and projects (MMM, LTV, MTA, spend optimization).
• Set the technical bar for modeling quality, data pipelines, and scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with Marketing leadership to integrate data science into business strategy.
• Provide hands-on mentorship to data scientists and establish robust ML Ops practices.
• Develop and standardize ML tooling and processes for production deployment and monitoring.
• Explore and prototype state-of-the-art models for marketing effectiveness.
