Job summary

Wellmark, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Marketing Data Analyst to advance how we collect, connect, govern, and use marketing data across our Iowa–based operations.

You’ll conduct data quality reviews, oversee governance processes, build sequential journey segmentations, and partner with stakeholders to maintain reports and dashboards. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, data science, or related field or direct and applicable work experience.
• 3+ years of marketing experience in performance marketing, media measurement, growth analytics, attribution models, trend analysis, forecast performance, sales funnels, on-site conversion metrics, customer journey analytics, etc.
• Experience in marketing and analytics platforms such as: GA, GTM, Looker Studio, Customer Journey Analytics, Adobe Target, ExperiencePlatform and/or Power BI dashboards.
• Solid understanding of marketing principles to effectively analyze data, identify insights, and drive strategic decision-making.
• Demonstrated project management effectiveness: meeting deadlines, solving problems, and aligning project work to campaign strategy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to consult with stakeholders, present information to technical and non-technical stakeholders and teams, including key decision makers.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple activities or projects.
• Ability to cultivate peer, key stakeholder and vendor relationships in order to drive results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track marketing performance and KPIs.
• Map data sources and ensure data quality for governance and measurement purposes.
• Collaborate with teams to plan measurement, learning, and testing plans; support KPI definitions.
• Tag and track digital properties to accurately report personas, journeys, segments and campaigns.
• Conduct data quality checks to ensure accuracy of tracking and reporting.
• Plan and execute experiments (A/B tests) and analyze results for actionable insights.
• Synthesize data insights into compelling narratives for stakeholders and leadership.
