Job description

Foresight Bank is the largest, locally owned community bank in Northern Illinois, with fifteen offices in the counties of Winnebago, Stephenson and Kankakee. Foresight Bank is owned by Foresight Financial Group, Inc., an Illinois corporation founded in 1986, a financial holding company established under the Federal Reserve.

Position Summary :

Support the execution of the marketing department's initiatives with a primary focus on graphic design and social media content collaboration. This individual will serve as the lead designer and support marketing campaigns across all bank brands and markets. As part of a multi-brand environment, the individual will play a key role in monitoring social media activity, assisting in content development, and ensuring consistency across platforms. The role also includes other items such as community involvement support, digital platform management, and collaboration with the Director of Marketing on strategic plans.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Lead all graphic design efforts for digital and print marketing across the organization using tools such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Canva.
  • Assist with managing social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.), including scheduling content, monitoring engagement, and running advertising campaigns.
  • Design and publish branded communications including flyers, brochures, social posts, presentations, event materials, press releases, and internal documents.
  • Collaborate in researching competitors and industry trends and assist in building marketing strategies to increase customer awareness and engagement.
  • Coordinate and support product launches and promotions with timely marketing collateral and internal communications.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to support the development and implementation of the annual strategic marketing plan to align leadership and overall bank objectives.
  • Assist with email marketing campaigns using platforms such as Constant Contact or internal CRM system. Design branded content directly within these platforms as needed.
  • Occasionally support website and digital platform updates, including uploading new imagery, graphics, or minor layout / design adjustments.
  • Assist with community events, local sponsorships, and outreach as needed to support the Marketing department and other areas of the bank. Represent the bank positively in the community and at events as needed.
  • Maintain organized records of all digital and print advertisements for compliance and audit purposes.
  • Maintain compliance with and adhere to all state and federal regulations and bank policies and procedures, including, but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, FACT ACT, Community Reinvestment Act, and EEO / AA / Fair Employment Practices.

Position Performance Standards :

Timely creation and execution of visual content that aligns with the bank's brand and marketing plan.

Active monitoring of social media channels to support engagement, flag activity, and maintain consistency.

Support cohesive messaging and branding across multiple brands.

No audit findings with regards to marketing collateral

Performance Weightings :

60% Position Performance Standards and Personal Goals

Qualifications :

Associates or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or related field required. 3+ years of previous design / marketing experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2-3 years banking experience a plus but not required.

Physical Demands and Work Environment :

This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, filing cabinets and fax machines. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
