Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Marketing Coordinator at our Pittsburgh, PA headquarters. The role oversees external webinar programs and client events, collaborating with the Marketing team to deliver engaging programs and initiatives.

You will measure ROI, report outcomes to leadership, and drive improvements while communicating with external clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in a professional business environment, ideally on a marketing team.
• Experience with event or program coordination/management.
• Exceptional communication and customer-service skills.
• Motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Proven ability to oversee a project from conception to delivery.
• Experience with webinar platforms like Teams or Zoom is encouraged.
• Experience with Cvent event management software preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, InDesign, Acrobat, or Canva.
• Experience with WordPress or other CMS, and HubSpot or similar CRM.

Overview

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc.has an immediate full-time opening for an organized, service-oriented Marketing Coordinator at our corporate headquarters in Pittsburgh, Pa. The Marketing Coordinator will oversee the execution of our company’s external-facing educational webinar program and client events, as well as several internal company-wideprograms and initiatives.

To keep events on track and ensure seamless execution, the Marketing Coordinator will collaborate with key members of the Marketing department to make sure each event gets the resources and attention it needs to be successful. In addition, the Marketing Coordinator will measure ROI and communicate regularly with leadership on the success of events while providing recommendations for improvements and ways to grow engagement.

This position offers a unique opportunity for a naturally curious, entrepreneurial person to gain exposure to a broad range of technical disciplines while working directly with marketing professionals, subject matter experts, corporate practice and market leaders, and company executives. The Marketing Coordinator will also be responsible for communicating with external clients who participate in our programs and events, keeping CEC’s core value of service excellence at the center of all interactions.

You'll directly contribute to meaningful corporate initiatives and play an important role in helping CEC continue its growth and success.

Under the guidance of marketing leadership, the Marketing Coordinator will:

• Coordinate internal and external programs and events, including CEC’s year-round Educational Training Courses (ETC) programming
• Collaborate with Marketing team and company leadership to execute activities in accordance with marketing strategies
• Utilize project management system to coordinate tasks and deadlines
• Work with outside vendors such as catering, A/V, or print companies to ensure successful delivery of professional, seamless programs and events
• Maintain consistency of our corporate and program brands across all events
• Create event-related social media content, signage, custom communications (print and digital), event registration pages, and webpages
• Conduct financial tracking and reporting
• Conduct thorough post-event analyses to determine the ROI and overall impact of the effort
• Support special projects and emerging marketing initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
• 2-4 years of experience in a professional business environment, ideally as part of a marketing team
• Experience with event or program coordination/management preferred
• Exceptional communication and customer-service skills
• Motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated ability to oversee a project from initial conception to completion and delivery
• Experience with web-based meeting/webinar platforms like Microsoft Teams or Zoom strongly encouraged
• Experience with Cvent event management software preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite/Microsoft 365 with an emphasis on PowerPoint
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, particularly InDesign and Acrobat, or other graphic design applications such as Canva
• Experience with WordPress or another website content management system
• Experience with HubSpot or other CRM platform preferred
