Job summary

Salas O’Brien, Inc. in Lakewood, CO is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support business development and marketing for engineering teams.

You’ll coordinate proposals, qualifications packages, marketing materials, and client information, working with technical staff to produce polished content. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of marketing experience in the AEC industry, strong resume and project data management skills, and proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and CRM systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, strategic communications, journalism, or similar degree (or commensurate level of skills).
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience, preferably in the AEC industry.
• Proficient in MS Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign and Photoshop.
• Graphic design skills would be ideal.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain resumes, boilerplate information, project descriptions, etc.
• Assist with Letter Proposals
• Assist with RFQ/RFP responses
• Conduct lead searches and follow up on emails from such searches
• Keep client contact data base updated (using CRM)
• Coordinate project photography with project team
• Lead the development of qualifications packages, including updating and preparing resumes, project profiles, projects lists, etc.
• Assist with planning and coordinating special events, as needed
• Assist with special projects and backs up others in the department, as needed

Job Summary: The Marketing Coordinator supports business development and marketing efforts by coordinating proposals, qualifications packages, marketing materials, and client information for our engineering teams. This role works closely with technical professionals and marketing team members to develop polished, accurate, and compelling content that showcases our experience and capabilities.

The ideal candidate is an organized, collaborative, and detail-oriented marketing professional who enjoys managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include supporting RFQ/RFP and proposal development, maintaining resumes and project information, coordinating project photography and special events, managing CRM data, and assisting with lead generation and other marketing initiatives.

This position is an excellent opportunity for a marketing professional with 2–3 years of experience—preferably within the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry—to continue developing their proposal, communications, and marketing skills while contributing to a collaborative team in a hybrid work environment.

• Ability to effectively coordinate projects by communicating with remote team members
• Experience in editing/proofreading narrative written by technical professionals
• Excellent grammar and communication skills, both written and oral
• The ability to organize and negotiate on project schedules and manage multiple deadlines and assignments
• Proficient with CRM database software, building automated report and creating systems for data management input/output (knowledge of Deltek Vantagepoint a plus)

The expected base salary range for this role is $65,000 - $85,000USD per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
