About the role
SmarterCommerce is hiring its first full-time Marketing Coordinator. You will keep our events, content and digital channels running smoothly, from shipping a conference booth to publishing a blog post. This is a hands‑on, detail‑oriented role with plenty of variety. This role is mostly remote, with 1 day in office.
Key responsibilities
ACCELERATE event planning
- Coordinate venue, catering, AV, registration, agenda and speaker logistics for ACCELERATE (customer conference).
- Promote the event through email and social, track registrations, and manage post‑event surveys and follow‑up.
Conference and travel event planning
- Plan attendance at Blueprint, INFOCUS, customer on‑sites, RUGs and team meetings, including travel, hotels and timelines.
- Booth management: coordinate booth design and graphics, ship and track materials, and handle setup and teardown.
- Session management: meet submission deadlines, draft abstracts, and prepare speakers and presentation materials.
- Customer events: plan dinners and receptions at conferences, manage invitations, RSVPs and venue bookings.
- Giveaways: select and order swag, manage inventory, and ship items to events on time.
Video creation and management
- Script, record and edit tutorial and promotional videos, and maintain an organized video library.
Website management and optimization
- Write and publish blog posts, refresh existing pages, and support website redesign projects.
- Improve SEO/AEO through keyword research, on‑page optimization, metadata and content updates.
Print asset management
- Keep business cards, datasheets and ebooks current and on brand, and coordinate printing and reorders.
Social media, email and webinars
- Plan and publish social content, engage with followers, and report on channel performance.
- Build and send email campaigns in HubSpot, manage lists and segments, and track results.
- Run webinars end to end: topics and speakers, registration pages, promotion, hosting, recordings and follow‑up.
Tools and systems
- HubSpot: email campaigns, landing pages, forms and campaign reporting.
- Salesforce: log event and campaign leads and keep marketing data accurate.
- ZoomInfo: build contact lists for event invitations and email campaigns.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of marketing experience, ideally in B2B software or technology.
- Experience coordinating trade shows or events, with strong organization and attention to detail.
- HubSpot experience preferred; familiarity with Salesforce and ZoomInfo a plus.
- Clear writer comfortable with basic video editing, design tools and website content management.
- Able to manage multiple deadlines independently and travel roughly 3-4 times a year.
