Job summary

Texas A&M International University is seeking a Federal College Work Study intern to support the Imaginarium of South Texas in Laredo. You will assist with marketing, outreach, events, programs, and public engagement, helping promote museum activities and community initiatives.

The role focuses on social media content creation, graphic design, photography, and basic website updates, with a flexible schedule up to 15 hours per week in a student-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled at least half-time (6 credit hours for undergrads, 3 for grads).
• Maintain GPA 2.0+ undergrad, 3.0+ grad.
• US citizen, permanent resident, or eligible non-citizen with Alien registration.

Responsibilities

• Create and schedule engaging social media content for platforms.
• Assist with marketing campaigns for museum events and programs.
• Design flyers, graphics, and promotional materials.
• Capture photos/videos at events for marketing use.
• Update website content, newsletters, calendars, and listings.
• Support outreach through partnerships and collaborations.
• Track engagement and campaign performance.
