Applied Materials, Inc. is seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist to support strategic communications and engagement initiatives for the Semiconductor Product Group's Strategy & Product Marketing team in Santa Clara, CA.

The role focuses on planning and executing events, managing vendors and media, and delivering clear internal communications. You will collaborate with product marketing, sales, and engineering to ensure alignment with business objectives and brand messaging while driving

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in marketing communications, product marketing, corporate communications, public relations, event marketing, or a related field.
• Experience supporting large-scale, multi-stakeholder events in a technology or B2B environment.
• Proficiency with event management platforms including Cvent, including event setup, registration management, reporting, and analytics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including internal and executive communications.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Experience in high-tech industries preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute high-impact showcase events aligned with major industry gatherings, regional symposia, customer engagements, and global conferences.
• Coordinate vendor deliverables, budgets, timelines, and logistics to support program execution; manage event registrations and post-event reporting.
• Develop internal communications to keep employees informed and engaged, and support product launches with clear messaging.
• Build and maintain relationships with executives, customers, partners, academia, and vendors; track and report event performance and campaign effectiveness.
