Applied Materials is seeking an experienced Corporate Event Manager to lead the strategy, planning, and execution of our global event portfolio, including large-scale internal conferences, executive briefings, customer summits, and recognition events.

The ideal candidate has deep experience managing high-visibility events within technology or semiconductor industries and thrives in a fast-paced, engineering-driven culture, with travel up to 20% internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5–7 years in corporate event management with at least 3 years managing large conferences.
• Strong vendor and contract negotiation skills.
• Experience with Cvent event management/registration platforms.
• Excellent project management with competing priorities under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end planning and execution of corporate events, including large industry shows and executive briefings.
• Develop and manage event budgets, timelines, and contracts with vendors.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Communications and Executives to align events with goals and roadmaps.
• Negotiate contracts with venues, GC, AV providers, and other vendors.
• Oversee external agencies/contractors and event tech platforms; manage risk and compliance.
