Applied Materials is seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist to support strategic communications for the Semiconductor Product Group (SPG) Strategy & Product Marketing team. You will help execute high-impact events, manage vendor and media relationships, and coordinate internal communications for product launches across a fast-paced tech environment.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in marketing communications, product marketing, corporate communications, public relations, event marketing, or a related field.
Experience supporting large-scale, multi-stakeholder events in a technology or B2B environment.
Proficiency with event management platforms including Cvent, including event setup, registration management, attendee communications, reporting, and analytics.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including internal and executive communications.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Experience in high-tech industries preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute high-impact showcase events aligned with major industry gatherings.
Coordinate venue, vendor engagement, contract negotiation, site inspections, and end-to-end logistics support.
Manage event registration, attendee communications, surveys, reporting, and onsite event management.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop compelling event content and ensure alignment with objectives and brand messaging.
