This is a full-time internship for Summer 2027 working onsite in Des Moines, IA.

We are looking for a dynamic marketing professional to support a variety of marketing, communication, and business development initiatives that help support the goals of Ruan.

Duties and responsibilities of this position include:

• Utilize digital tactics, such as email marketing, social media campaigns, industry specific media buying, and other digital channels to help drive awareness to Ruan's open driver positions.
• Assist with the development and distribution of internal and external communications, including employee newsletters, company announcements, presentations, social media content, and other corporate messaging materials.
• Perform market research on competitors and develop compelling messaging and content for advertisements, recruiting campaigns, social media, ruan.com, and other external channels.
• Create and execute email marketing campaigns using internal tools to promote Ruan's open positions.
• Research and collaborate with internal partners to understand Ruan's services and translate that knowledge into effective recruiting and employer brand communications.
• Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, special projects, and company or volunteer events through content creation, project coordination, event planning, and communications support.
• Perform other job-related duties and special projects as assigned.
