Job summary

Plante Moran in Denver is seeking a Communications Assistant to support the firm's communications team, covering internal communications and public relations. You will craft clear, engaging content and help inform staff about news and initiatives, while supporting change management and our culture.

Responsibilities include intranet articles on DEI and client stories, brief firm articles, social posts, press releases, and coordination tasks like scheduling and posting to our intranet.

Qualifications

• Completion of at least three years of study in pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or another related degree
• Academic success (a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0)
• Previous marketing internship experience; communications focus is preferred
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Write short articles for our intranet on topics like diversity, equity, and inclusion; new firm initiatives; and client success stories and post to our intranet
• Write brief articles for plantemoran.com that highlight our media placements
• Write social media posts to help share firm news or initiatives
• Write press releases to announce firm news
• General coordination duties-Things like scheduling meetings, entering work into our project management system, posting articles to our intranet, etc.
