Northmarq is seeking a Communications & Public Relations Intern to join our Corporate Communications department in Minneapolis (Bloomington, MN). You will work on internal and external communications, including intranet news, press pages, and social content.

The role offers hands-on experience in corporate writing and media tracking, with mentorship from seasoned professionals and exposure to events and multi-channel campaigns at a market-leading CRE firm.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing Communications, or related field with expected graduation between Dec 2027 and Spring 2028.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent interpersonal and multi-tasking abilities.
• Self-directed, proactive, and deadline-driven.

Responsibilities

• Develop internal and external communications for workforce, clients, and industry professionals (intranet news, press releases, social media, bios).
• Support summer corporate events and special projects, flexing storytelling across channels.
• Shadow team members in corporate communications, PR, and marketing to gain experience.
