Athene in Iowa seeks a Marketing Automation Manager to own the strategy and execution of automated, AI-enhanced campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud. You’ll lead a team and collaborate across Marketing, Sales, and IT to improve segmentation, journeys, and performance.

Qualifications

3+ years of relevant experience, including leadership
Experience implementing and optimizing enterprise marketing technology platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Data Cloud
Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities in CRM, data architecture, and analytics
Experience with segmentation, personalization, and journey orchestration
Proficiency in tools such as Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI
Experience in financial services, insurance, or regulated environments is preferred
Salesforce Marketing Cloud/Data Cloud certifications are preferred

Responsibilities

Lead the implementation, governance, and optimization of the marketing automation ecosystem
Partner with Marketing, Sales, IT, and Data teams on data architecture and audience segmentation
Develop AI-enabled marketing programs to strengthen engagement, lead nurturing, and lifecycle marketing
Lead and develop a high-performing Marketing Automation team
Prioritize marketing technology initiatives and deliver measurable outcomes
Establish measurement and continuous-improvement practices with analytics and testing
