About the RoleGCO seeks a Marketing Associate to help execute marketing plans that drive brand awareness and audience engagement for key GCO programs. This is a Telecommute/Work from Home position. This position reports to the Vice President of Communications.
Responsibilities- Assist with project management for various digital marketing projects.
- Maintain GCO’s website, including day-to-day updates, regular updates to priority content, and special web projects to increase visibility of GCO’s work.
- Produce GCO’s email newsletters, including creating and collecting content; formatting, testing, and sending; and reporting metrics. Assist with list management and updates.
- Oversee GCO’s social media presence, including maintaining a social media calendar creating and posting content, producing deliverables related to partnership agreements, and reporting metrics.
- Manage Google AdWords grant and paid ad campaigns through Google Ads, social media, or additional platforms.
- Assist with content creation, including blog posts, marketing materials, landing pages, stories and testimonials, and campaign-specific projects as assigned.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with local organizations and publications that can help promote GCO programs/resources to relevant audiences.
Qualifications- 5-7 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Strong marketing copywriting and editing skills, especially for web, email, and social media.
- Excellent attention to detail, quality control, and brand alignment.
- A positive work style, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to collaborate across multiple teams and projects.
- Highly organized, able to work independently, and comfortable managing multiple projects to meet deadlines.
- Working knowledge of SEO best practices and digital platforms (Meta, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube).
- Familiar with Google Analytics, Google Ads, Canva, and MailChimp.
- Graphic design/video editing skills preferred but not required.
