Your Role in Our Mission
The Marketing Coordinator manages the day-to-day execution of SHPE’s social media activities and supports the Marketing department with responses to inquiries, minor graphic design, community engagement, CRM, email and project management . The ideal candidate will have a can-do, proactive attitude with strong organization, customer service, and communication skills to be able to keep up with the many stakeholders with whom they work. They will also have a keen attention to details and ability to make decisions as needed in a high-pressure environment.
Responsibilities:
· Execute the social media strategy from beginning to end including gathering photo and video footage, writing and designing posts, planning campaigns, reporting analytics,and engaging with followers across multiple platforms.
· Develop media including graphics, videos, gifs, etc. to use for social media.
·Develop and execute a plan for recruiting, using, and managing social media ambassadors.
·Engage with chapters and regions to amplify SHPE’s messaging.
· Manage the YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tik Tok, and X accounts to grow followers and increase engagement.
· Serve as “on-air” talent for social engagement on various platforms.
· Develop and execute methods to grow engagement across all social media platforms by curating targeted content and staying on top of trends.
·Complete minor, internal graphic design projects like resizing logos, creating weband socialgraphics, and supporting the SHPE team with simplegraphicrequests.
· Collaborate with the Marketing team on various campaigns to ensure consistency in communication.
·Day-to-day marketing support including responding to marketing alias emails, proofreading emails and design projects (prospectus, corporate brochures, fliers, presentations, etc.), and keeping themarketingplanning calendars updated.
· Make basic website updates as needed.
·Assist in driving engagement on Higher Logic through calendar updates, text messaging, advertising for key marketing initiatives, and providing moderation.
·Execute newsletters in Higher Logic including list management, design, copywriting, and analytics in collaboration with the team.
·Manage communication between all departments through cross-functional collaboration to best support the needs of all programs and events.
·Provide customer service through messages and comments received.
·Other duties as assigned.

Job Experience required:
