Job Description

We are looking for an outgoing and ambitious intern passionate about economy, marketing, operations management, and event planning. You will assist in day‑to‑day activities, promote the Chamber, recruit new members, and organize Chamber events and operations.

• Promoting the Chamber and Chamber events
• Assisting in membership program development
• Providing general office administration
• Assisting in recruiting new Chamber members
• Organizing Chamber events, including coordinating volunteers
• Attending Chamber specific networking events
• Preparing board meetings

Marketing and Business Development Intern

As the Marketing and Business Development Intern, you will manage marketing materials and create creative content that captures the audience’s attention while upholding the SACC Florida branding. This position includes responsibility for:

• Developing marketing materials for the chamber’s social media platforms and events.
• Maintaining and updating the Chamber databases.
• Ensuring that the Chamber website is up to date.
• Managing social media accounts and analyzing social media metrics.
• Demonstrating a creative approach to creating marketing material (previous international experience, WordPress, and graphic design is an advantage but not required).

PLEASE NOTE: Candidates are welcome to apply for multiple positions at SACC, but accepting an offered position and subsequently accepting a second position at SACC is not allowed. Doing so will result in disqualification from both positions.

This is a six‑month internship starting in July 2026. The internship does not provide monetary compensation as SACC‑USA is a non‑profit organization. As an intern abroad, you can apply for scholarships. Some students may also be eligible for student aid from CSN. SACC‑USA will assist with the visa application process. To be eligible for a J‑1 visa, you must be a Swedish citizen.

You will gain valuable real‑world experience and business‑related skills while developing a professional international network. Working in a highly inspirational atmosphere and collaborating with industry leaders across various sectors will allow you to acquire new experiences and enhance your skills. You will gain insight into how business is conducted in the U.S., improve your English speaking and writing skills, develop an understanding of U.S. customs and culture, and become adept at cross‑cultural communication.
