Job summary

The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce of Washington, D.C. (SACC-DC) is hiring a Marketing / Business intern to start in January 2027. The 12-month program is split: six months full-time at SACC-DC and six months part-time with a member organization, giving exposure to both nonprofit and commercial sectors.

Phase 2 is paid, funded by the Lars Bjerde Fund. The internship offers a vibrant city setting, cross‑cultural experience, and a strong professional network through SACC‑USA and member

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a university program in a relevant field.
• Swedish citizenship or significant connections to Sweden.
• Strong Swedish and English communication skills.
• Experience with Canva or InDesign.
• Writing experience and strong project management.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage social media accounts and newsletters; conduct interviews.
• Assist in organizing events and luncheons.
• Support marketing activities for members.
• Collaborate with Executive Director and team on visits and programs.
• Handle day-to-day office operations.
• Facilitate networking opportunities through Young Professionals.
