This individual will play an integral role in driving event registration and sponsorship revenue, ensuring our events have maximum reach and are sold out.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement event marketing strategies that meet and exceed budgeted registration revenue goals per event through targeted marketing campaigns and promotions, including ongoing communication, market research, trend analysis, and target audience refinement.
  • Work with the Investor Relations team to develop compelling collateral, ROI packets, etc. to help sell and retain event sponsorships.
  • Lead the end-to-end marketing and project management of several large‑scale in‑person and virtual events annually.
  • Create and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns using tried‑and‑true channels, including email marketing, digital and print advertising, social media marketing, direct mail, and partner outreach, to drive attendance, sponsorship, and engagement.
  • Write and edit compelling copy for marketing materials, website content, e‑blasts, social media, and other communications.
  • Work with a videographer and internal team members to script and produce video assets that showcase event and mission‑related highlights.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing metrics, such as website traffic, social media engagement, and email analytics, to measure campaign effectiveness and make data‑driven decisions for optimization.
  • Design and produce high‑quality marketing materials, including flyers, brochures, digital content, on‑site print items, and PowerPoint presentations that effectively communicate the event focus and value proposition. Experience placing and monitoring digital ads a plus.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., Events team, MarComms team, revenue teams, organization leadership, etc.) and vendors to meet all pre‑defined deadlines, budgets, and logistics milestones.
  • Maintain and refine existing event marketing lists, assets, timelines, and processes with fidelity to established standards.
  • Assist with onsite logistics of events, including run of show, event branding, social media strategy, etc.
  • Manage event registration platforms and post‑event follow‑up messaging.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, such as graphic designers, printers, and marketing agencies, where applicable.
  • Provide thorough documentation and reporting to ensure consistency year over year.
  • Adhere to organization branding and messaging guidelines across all touchpoints.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of events marketing experience, with a portfolio of design and written samples demonstrating expertise.
  • Extensive knowledge of traditional and digital marketing landscapes, with a minimum of 5–7 years performing generalist duties such as copywriting, editing, graphic design, social media management, general website management, etc.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools such as Canva.
  • Strong written, editing, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and effectively engage with diverse audiences. A keen eye for detail and grammar is a must.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to gather and synthesize information from various sources.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to carry out marketing plan deliverables.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit with demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing successful marketing strategies and campaigns that drive results.
  • Demonstrated strength in traditional marketing channels; familiarity with digital platforms and contemporary A/V standards and practices.
  • Proven ability to follow structured systems and repeat complex multi‑part processes accurately across multiple events.
  • Highly detail‑oriented, organized, and deadline‑driven. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
