Job summary

Sonar in Austin, TX, seeks a Marketing AI Engineer to design, build, and maintain AI agents and automated workflows that amplify the marketing function. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, then iterate until processes are faster, smarter, and scalable.

You may come from marketing ops or automation engineering, with hands-on AI tooling experience and a knack for turning requirements into reliable implementations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in marketing ops or automation with measurable impact.
• Deep knowledge of Salesforce, HubSpot, GA, Marketo.
• No-code/low-code platforms Make, Zapier, n8n with Python/JS scripting.
• Experience with AI agent frameworks LangChain, Claude SDK, OpenAI.
• Strong analytics and dashboards for automations.
• Excellent communication to non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, CS.

Responsibilities

• Map and prioritize automation opportunities with marketing teams.
• Design and build AI agents and automated workflows for marketing processes.
• Deploy and maintain automations with reliable performance.
• Produce efficiency and impact reporting for leadership.
• Stay current on AI tooling and pilot new capabilities.
• Collaborate with Marketing Tooling & AI Operations teams.
• Ensure data quality and governance across workflows.
• Document and enable adoption through enablement sessions.
