A leading consulting firm seeks a Senior Associate Director of Market Research to support pharmaceutical brands. This remote role focuses on delivering insights through extensive market analysis and guiding marketing strategies, requiring over a decade of experience in the sector. Candidates should have a proven track record in market research, vendor management, and thorough knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations.
Job Title: Market Research Consultant - Senior Associate Director
Location: Remote (Work during Eastern Time Zone business hours)
Duration: 06 months + will be extend.
Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced market research leader to support pharmaceutical brand teams by delivering deep customer insights and data-driven recommendations. You’ll plan and run research projects, analyze data, and help shape brand strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and plan market research needs for current and future brand strategy.
Design, execute, and analyze qualitative and quantitative research studies.
Present insights clearly and guide marketing decisions.
Use multiple data sources (surveys, syndicated data, etc.) to answer complex business questions.
Manage vendors and ensure compliance with all pharma regulations.
Work with internal teams to provide unified support for brand teams.
Lead projects and influence decisions without direct authority.
Stay informed on brand performance, customer needs, and market trends.
Requirements:
10+ years in market research for large pharmaceutical brands.
1) achieved a full director level role within a pharma manufacturing company specifically managing market research (or both market research and analytics).
2) physically worked within a pharma manufacturing company for at least 10 years specifically managing market research (or both market research and analytics) And have achieved a VP level role in a large market research vendor.
Experience in cardiology or diabetes markets is a plus.
Must be based in the U.S. and able to work Eastern Time hours.
Available to start immediately.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Masters degree in Marketing Research (preferred).
